A celebration. A light-hearted birthday dinner party. Everything is good natured until the subject of children comes up. Audley is longing to have a baby with his long-standing partner Trudie. He is financially secure and the most successful black man he knows. At least he's not like his best friend Derrick, a ragamuffin and small time hustler and father of eight.
