Futurists archiveHow do you silence artists because their language is dangerous and offers a different and possibly opposing way of seeing the world? What is the price for freedom of expression? In the Stray Dog Cafe after the Revolution, a tribe of Russian musicians, artists and writers meet to perform, debate and fight for the need for fresh and radical forms to give voice to the new egalitarian age. Rules are made to be broken, change is happening at breakneck speed. How are lives to be lived fully and truthfully, freed from the tyranny of 'tradition'? Does another tyranny emerge?
