Double Fringe First winner Jonathan Hall's play takes a look at the bizarre, blackly funny, and often messy world that is the making of low budget bit porn flicks and follows four young guys as t hey attempt to make it big. For Robert, rapidly approaching 25, being in a porn film is something that's always appealed, something that's up there with paragliding, to be ticked off 'the wish list' before it's too late. To Kevin however, committed actor (committed struggling actor) well, it's just work - a way of showing his dramatic versatility. After all, 'being a straight man in a gay film what could be more versatile than that?' Martin, new to London, new to the scene sees it in less serious terms a bit of a laugh with a shag thrown in. And hey, if Mr Right is out there watching, well, so much the better. It's left to Craig, veteran of two previous films (and recipient of a 'Stiffy' for Most Promising Newcomer) to put them right: to dispel their illusions about the raunch and the glamour, and to prepare the boys for the huge gulf that is the difference between the watching of and the making of pornography.
