Henry Walker and the Wheel of Death archiveHenry Walker was once a world-class magician performing to sold-out audiences. Now he has been reduced to joining Jeremiah Musgrove's Chinese Circus as the shambling Negro Magician. One night in 1954, Henry disappears in the company of three rowdy white teens and is never seen again. Based on Daniel Wallace's Mr. Sebastian and the Negro Magician, Henry Walker and the Wheel of Death pieces together Henry's incredible vagabond life - from a deal with the mysterious Mr. Sebastian, to the loss of his sister Hannah - and creates a tale of love, loss, identity, and the limitation of magic.
