Details
Greek epic of love, jealousy and revenge. Phaedra is sick. She is in love with her stepson, Hippolytos. The prince hates sexual passion and any mortal 'impurity'. He also hates women. Can Phaedra live with her secret? When Hippolytos finds out, his very essence is violated. Theseus - father to the prince, husband to the queen - returns from exile. But it's too late. They are forced to ask whether it is better to die or live a life of sullied reputation. But the gods have the final say. Running time: 1hr 30mins. This production is site-specific, as the tunnel is not set up as a theatre. Please be aware that there are no toilets in the venue.
