How Many Ducks in Stacey? archiveBased on a true story, How Many Ducks in Stacey? is a black comedy that investigates the consequences of an upside-down mental health system where the doctors are mad and the patients are sane but trapped by the institution. Sandwiched between both are the real carers who work hard to help those assigned to them. Set in the 1970's when the mental health act was in a poor state, the play asks how anyone can have the right to judge another person as mentally unstable?
