An intriguing and highly theatrical introduction specially commissioned to launch the new building. Station House Opera's site specific work meshes, video, live performance and spectacle to explore with subversive wit the relationship between people and their environment. An internationally-renowned performance company, locations of their work have varied from New York Brooklyn Bridge to Salisbury Cathedral. Recent productions include Roadmetal Sweetbread, first performed at the ICA, and Mare's Nest, a show for galleries and theatre spaces, first performed at La Batie Festival in Geneva: both shows are currently touring all over the world.
