Welcome to Death's home. He is like a lost boy pressing his face up against a window on humanity, coveting their experiences. He fills his time, in between collecting the dead, by counting his toes and learning James Bond theme tunes on his accordion. He hopes one day to retire, but time stretches on and his workload seems never to end. Death hopes to capture some solace from his lonely existence by replaying moments from the lives of three women who left a stronger last impression than most. These misfits become like toys in Death's quest to find his sunshine and be released from his prison of duty.
