Infidelities archiveMr and Mrs Kean, affectedly respectable, have a Tuesday arrangement. Of an afternoon, while he's at work, she brings a 'rendezvous' back to their West Hampstead flat. In the evening, when she's out, he does the same. They never overlap - until nineteen-year-old Mark, sexually ambivalent, easy on the eye, and much too good at talking dirty, begins laying siege to both. But what nasty secrets is Mark keeping in the closet? Infidelities, a black comedy of very bad manners, is by Sean Mathias, who is best known as a film and theatre director. Infidelities is his third play. It was first performed in 1985 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, transferring later to the Donmar Warehouse as part of the 'Perrier Pick of the Fringe' season.
