T1631612585
Marilyn Monroe walks into Albert Einstein's bedroom on a hot summer's night in New York, 1953. She is being pursued by the press and a hot headed husband (Joe DiMaggio), he is being persecuted by Senator McCarthy. Who knows, it could have happened ... Insignificance held its world premiere at the Royal Court Theatre in 1982 and was voted one of the top hundred plays in the NT2000 Platform series. It also won for its creator, Terry Johnson, the Evening Standard Theatre Award for 1982: Most Promising Playwright.
