An ante-natal comedy for the nuclear age 'It's A Girl' is a sketchbook of sharp and entertaining caricatures concerning what happens when one 'ordinary' woman is stirred to fight two parallel campaigns. One for the right to have her baby at home rather than in hospital, the other for the right not to have a nuclear waste dump in her village. With her husband opposing the first, and working for the contractor implementing the second, the lines are laid for a battle which illuminates two highly contentious issues of our time.
