Land Mines and Chewing Gum archiveShe lost her family, only to have one of them recalled to life. The love of a beautiful stranger emerges, only to be threatened by prejudice and deceit. When someone proves their saviour, and he too declares his devotion, they are all unaware of the depths of courage and sacrifice such emotions could inspire. Set against the backdrop of oppression, rebellion and the plight of the asylum seeker, this exciting, moving play is based on a contemporary reading of the Dickens classic, A Tale of Two Cities.
