Law Tricks or Who Would Have Thought It - Shakespeare and the Lawyers archiveWith his sister missing, kidnapped by Turks, and his father (the Duke of Genoa) absent, Polymetes falls from scholarship into revelry with newly-arrived, sharp-witted Tristella. All this suits Count Lurdo, an extremely ambitious lawyer. "Shakespeare and the Lawyers" has been chosen as Globe Education's spring theme to complement the Globe's anniversary production of Twelfth Night in the Middle Temple Hall. The programme of staged reading and lectures will explore the lawyers' relationship to the theatre in the 16th and 17th centuries.
