Meet the Mukherjees

Meet the MukherjeesT01351326410
A romantic comedy with a bite which proves that love may conquer all but your in-laws! When Anita and Aaron meet at the office Christmas party, it's lust at first sight. They're the last to think there could be any long-term future in the relationship. At thirty, Anita is, according to her mother Rani, past her sell by date whilst Aaron is, according to his mother Irma, a heartless ladykiller. But despite their own uncertainties, the couple can't help but fall for each other. When Anita eventually gets down on bended knee and proposes, Aaron's only misgiving is that she beat him to it. As they plan their wedding day, Anita and Aaron have to face reality and introduce their families to each other. However, Anita's parents are not so easily persuaded when they first meet their future Jamaican born son-in-law for the first time. Aaron and Anita come face-to-face with the prejudices and fears of both sets of in-laws who seem to group together in opposition to their union. Will their love survive the test?
