On the 4th of December 1969, Fred Hampton, 21-year-old leader of the Black Panthers, was murdered by detectives from the Chicago Police Department. To quell the resulting public outcry, officials decided to reenact the raid for local television news. Unfortunately for them, Fred had other ideas.
