How do you escape a violent lover? How do you escape the shadow of that violent love? What do you lose, but more importantly what do you gain in your struggle to be free? Working with community actors and young people to create the soundtrack and visuals for this fashion show, My Fabulous Tartan Frock brings domestic violence into the spotlight as it explores the remarkable collective journey of women who have experienced domestic abuse: one of fear, betrayal, isolation and ultimately of self-empowerment.
