The Mystery Hour is an absurdist comedy mystery experience, in the spirit of Vic and Bob, the Mighty Boosh, Paul Currie et al. Two once-respected ex-radio presenters, Liam McKenna and Polly Preston, attempt to take their cancelled late-night mystery-solving radio show to the stage. Armed with a stolen BBC fax machine, a bunch of homemade props and a ton of half-baked conspiracy theories, McKenna and Preston answer radio listeners' questions on a diverse range of topics including - but not limited to - the Loch Ness, shape-shifting lizards, ghosts, karaoke-singing chimps, and banana cannibals. And they are doing it in the only way they know how: through contemporary dance, slam poetry, puppetry, sound, thoroughly researched theatrical movement, dramatic dialogue, storytelling, and with help from Hollywood movie star Nicolas Cage.
