One Man Hallowe'en
T0
he Celtic tradition of welcoming winter by telling creepy stories erupts from its premature grave with Scottish storyteller Marty Ross, who ? when not writing for BBC radio or Doctor Who & Dark Shadows audio ? does the whole damn thing himself. Over three nights, Ross will perform a different tale every night. On 2nd. November, RANNOCH tells of 18th. Century Redcoat soldiers lost on the highland moor of the title and facing supernatural vengeance after their brutal suppression of the local Jacobites. On 3rd. November, a detour to Germany for YOU MUST BECOME CALIGARI!, a one man version of the classic silent film featuring the titular Doctor and his cabinet. Black comedy, pathos and seriously weird re-imagining ensues. On Nov 4th., we're back to Scotland for DRIFTWOOD HEARTS, updating a classic Scottish folktale to modern times, as ghostly forces from under the sea lure a wife from her husband - and leave something inhuman to take her place.... Choose your nightmare - or book for all three at a special reduced price.
