T0 A moving and often crude account of Captain Cook's famous, ill-fated and final voyage, on the Discovery in 1778. The story is passionately told through David Samwell, in his final hours. Not only was Samwell the ship's surgeon but he was also a celebrated poet both in English and in Welsh.
