The journey takes you to whispered secrets, corseted ladies cradled in bones, glimpses of interminable passion and the heady scent of purple hyacinth. You'll make mischief at the Butchers, have chance encounters with reluctant heroes, a mummy who lives in a closet and a vampiric household cook.
