Poblacion Arenera/The Sand Settlers
T01406783538
In the 1940s the mysterious disappearance of a local boxing star-to-be and fervent believer in social justice galvanised a marginalised community against political persecution and media manipulation. Set on the sandy banks of the river Mapocho, Caldo tell this true story of bravery and resistance as a gloriously fun whirlwind of physical theatre, bawdy comedy and astute political commentary accompanied by a wonderful live soundtrack of 1940's Chilean song and music.
