History and mythology have given us a wealth of stories and characters, heroes and monsters and one such creature who has stayed in the minds of humanity is Medusa. A single look from her will turn you to stone, never to awaken again. It is a merciless curse - but what of the woman under it? Poor Medusa, presented by former Point Youth Theatre member Richard Gunston explores just that For in a cave, thousands of years after her time, Medusa still lives in isolation, until a man of our time finds her, and delves into the memories of the monster to find the person at its heart. Poor Medusa is part of The Point's Making Space Programme to aid young artists and is supported by Farnham Maltings' no strings attached scheme.
