A collection of devised tales from our talented youth theatre: PARCANS - Is This It? Monday 14th & Tuesday 15th June 7.45 Life. Death. Heaven. Hell. What do they mean to me... to us... to you? A devised performance with elements of humour and pathos. A series of interlocking scenes which ask the questions and offer some individual answers... leading to many more questions. STROBES - Beary Tales And Bored Office Drones Friday 18th & Saturday 19th June 7.45 The progress youth theatre’s Strobes Group presents its latest play, all about bears and office life!?! It's a new and exciting modernisation of a classic fairytale, east of the sun west of the moon, devised and scripted by the group. The story is told through various media including animation, physical theatre and puppetry. It’s a whole new kind of show! Beary Tales and Office Drones is an update of a folk tale, East o the Sun, West o the Moon, based in an office. The office setting was a practical inspiration - co-leader Ali Carroll had some old office equipment that would make good props. The modernization of the original tale has included removing the part of the story where the girl who makes the best job of washing the prince’s shirt gets to marry him!Director Steph Weller. Director John Goodman.
