Queen Margaret journeys through four of Shakespeare's history plays, following the one woman who cuts through a ruthless world of male political power to survive to the end. This four-hander combines traditional storytelling styles with Shakespeare's poetry to weave a tale of cut-throat politics and civil war both on and off the battlefield. A work-in-progress playreading exploring the use of Scottish theatre tradition in Shakespeare adaptation for global audiences.
