Radar 2014 archiveNow in its third year, the Bush Theatre's annual festival returns this November to shine a spotlight on the hottest new writing talent from around the world. Featuring stimulating talks, stirring sneak peeks and inspiring shows, RADAR explores the urgent questions facing theatre in this moment and beyond. At RADAR 2013, the Bush invited some of Britain's most innovative thinkers to share their ideas on the future of culture. Speakers included Lucy Ellinson, star of Grounded (Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Gate Theatre) & Occupy activist, UK hip-hop star Ty and BBCR1 Weekend Breakfast Show host Gemma Cairney. Since its inception in 2012 the festival has showcased electrifying new work from Bryony Kimmings, Caroline Horton and Inua Ellams, and has premiered shows including Kieran Hurley's Beats, Luke Barnes' Chapel Street and Michaela Coel's award-winning Chewing Gum Dreams.
