It is very hard to prove my name, it is very hard to prove my age, it is very hard to prove my story in a court of law. It is very hard to prove anything. In Benin City, a young girl struggles to support her family. A world away, in an Edinburgh tenement, 'aunty' Martha arranges a job and flight for her. Journey with her on the bus that leads to a new life and discover the nightmare reality behind Martha's promises. Based on the experiences of young women trafficked to Scotland, this production by award-winning theatre artist Cora Bissett (Midsummer a play with songs), combines chilling performances with video, animation and music to thrust you into the hidden world of sex-trafficking. Not a world away from you, but a world on your doorstep. Contains strong language and sexual imagery.
