Safe archiveFive parents turn up at an old warehouse one evening to build a fairytale float for the carnival. But, when Maggie sends her son out alone into the night, they start to recall the monsters and magic of their childhood, both imaginary and real. This gripping play taps into the shared roots of childhood and stories to explore the modern parental fears of letting children out on their own. The monsters are out there, in one form or another; the question is how to survive them?
