Salt archiveBeth hasn't been home for 10 years. Tonight she's back for one night only, and she's desperate for a chip butty. But will she face the past she left behind? A story of love, loss and salty lips. Beth is back in Wales for her mother's funeral. It's uncomfortable being back. We meet her drunk, with a chip butty in hand, and follow her through the night into the early hours of the morning; visiting memories of boys kissed and girls loved - her best friend Emma. But why has Beth been away so long? And where is her best friend now? Initially inspired by the lyricism of 'Under Milk Wood', Salt is a modern tale of a woman's return home to Wales.
