Searches for Penguins is a one-woman comedy show about the ups and downs of life. This semi-autobiographical piece finds the humour in and explores such issues as drug addiction, sex and poverty. The audience will find themselves laughing at things and situations they never thought could be funny. This is one woman's attempt to dispute and dissect the stereotypical representation of the female through hilarious comedy. Searches for Penquins was written by MA student Genevieve Garcia as part of a thesis project.
