Serve Tea Then Murder archiveA war on two fronts - but who is the real enemy? In Iraq a British soldier is taken hostage by insurgents, sparking a media frenzy about women's role in the Military when she is broadcast globally calling for the withdrawal of Coalition troops, dressed in a hijab. Meanwhile in the charged atmosphere of Basra's Green Zone a soldier reports a sexual assault and faces an unforeseen challenge. In the Ministry of Defence a senior Adviser faces a very modern dilemma - realise her political aspirations and chase the big promotion or swap Whitehall for the school run? In two intertwining short plays we follow the lives of these women against the backdrop of the Iraq war as they face conflicts on the home front and the front-line.
