She Talks to Beethoven archiveSet in Ghana in 1961, shortly after independence, Suzanne is a writer living in Accra with her husband, David, a revolutionary. Suzanne is ill. David is missing. Throughout the play Suzanne fluctuates between her home in Accra, and 19th century Vienna, where she talks to Beethoven.
