1: Daen Crandell - Xenophobadelica/D'Lo - D'Faqto Life
Xenophobadelica: DawN tackles the irrational contradictions of homophobia within certain Black Radical Artistic communities and racism within certain white queer communities using mask, movement, monologue, drag, burlesque, poetry... and Prince... Developed with support from Bryony Kimmings, and directed by Rachel Brogan.
D'Faqto Life: Using excerpts from D'Lo's different solo shows, D'FaQTo Life (pronounced De Facto) is a roller-coaster ride of emotions with stories executed through stand-up, spoken word/poetry, and theatre. D'Lo explores topics relating to South Asia and transgender social justice from the perspective of being a child of immigrant parents, raised in Hip Hop culture while trying to negotiate how identifying as "queer" intersected with a passion to create political art. D'Lo is a queer Tamil Sri Lankan-American, political theatre artist/writer, director, comedian and music producer.
