Robert Carling is an unhappy man. Due to clerical error he's been pushed around all the Job Centres in London. All he wants is some money he's entitled to, but no-one will let him have it. Frustrated, he returns to the office where he began his search - armed with common sense in one hand and a gun in the other. Carling takes everyone hostage, and forces the staff to solve his and everyone else's problems immediately, in his own 'proper and logical fashion' - at gun point. But Mr Webb, the manager thinks Carling is a thug, and intends to prove his point. With the police waiting outside, the tension begins to mount
