The show is based on the stories of workers at Shrewsbury’s world-famous swimsuit and underwear factory, and reflects local and world events in the 1960s from the Beatles playing The Granada to Man landing on the Moon. It also explores social changes such as the advent of the contraceptive pill and the devastating effect of the arrival of tights!
