Inspired by memories of older people in care homes, often confined to wing-back chairs facing nowhere, and how they remember happiness and joy. We hear so much about people remembering unhappy events in their lives - this play is about happiness - both for the audience and the participants. I could go back into a shell but then with Sitting Comfortably the door opens and it makes me feel young again.'
