Princess Joan (Siwan in Welsh), daughter of King Joan, grand-daughter of Eleanor of Aquitaine, was married in 1205 to Llywelyn the Great, ruler of North Wales - 'Prince of Aberfraw and Lord of Gwynedd'. In 1216 King John died, and Henry III came to the throne, Princes Siwan died at Aberconwy in 1237.
