In the movies, the course of true love never runs smooth, and local video-store owner Davey Dee finds out the hard way when he is dumped by his long-term girlfriend. Desperate to know why he is doomed to be rejected, he revisits his five ex-girlfriends to find out what he has to do to get the girl.
