Starting Blocks invites five artists or companies to form a peer network and develop brand new work - to be showcased as part of Sprint. Over ten weeks, the selected artists meet weekly to share practise, ideas and their developing projects. They are also given space to create their work. This year's artists are Greg Wohead, Bread & Goose (see above), Chris Dugrenier, Rachel Mars and HalfCut. Their projects explore straight male cross-dressing; espionage; ageing, and defying it; humour and unfunniness; and the journey from birth to death. A day of new theatre-in-progress, created as part of CPT's annual Starting Blocks artist development scheme.
