Storm in a Flower Vase archive Iconic floral designer and cookery writer Constance Spry remains a household name to this day. A pioneer for working women, Constance ran a successful business as the florist of choice for the highest of high society, designing floral displays for royal weddings and indeed for the Queen's coronation as well as creating the icon dish 'Coronation Chicken'. Mrs. Spry undoubtedly played a leading part in London society during the 1930s.
