The Absolute Truth About Absolutely Everything archiveA show about a crisis of masculinity performed by a different female performer each night "This feels like a very dangerous game. Exciting, and very brave, and dangerous." David Harradine, Artistic Director, Fevered Sleep. A piece that offers a challenging but radically humane portrait of what it is to live in a society that is privileged like no other, but has a chronic poverty of empathy and what that means for the relationship between men and women. Presented by the writer but performed by a new performer each night, the show charts the story of a crisis in the writer's life. As the performer and audience discover new details, two people struggling for control are revealed the writer desperately trying to take control of his past, and the performer, at each turn unsure of what she's complying with. A richly textured work that blurs fiction and reality to create a piece that is lightly humorous and darkly unsettling, The Absolute Truth About Absolutely Everything is a show combining beautifully crafted and experimental storytelling that utilises the unpredictable nature of live performance.
