...Three women, one soul song... The Backside Monologues is a contemporary play exploring love, friendship, experiences and the many ups and few downs of a black female life journey. Three black women through poetry, prose, song and movement share their experiences of life, realising that they are not so different after all. They go beyond the limitations of stereotypes and body parts to discover they all have the same soul song.
