The Book of Man archiveExploring the themes of friendship, loss and homecoming, the play follows the story of 35 year-old Kevin Previn, playwright and punk poet. When his college friend and literary idol, Mike Illingworth, dies of Aids in their hometown of Glasgow, Previn returns to make a documentary about the writer's life. The journey forces him to confront his own past and to re-examine his friendship with the man who first inspired him.
