The Brownie Club - (Transmission Sharing) archiveJessica Andrade is a British Indian girl growing up in white conservative Essex. Her story starts in the 1990s during her early years at primary school. Too busy to join the Brownies or Guides due to her love of gymnastics, she decides to start her own 'Brownie Club' with her two best friends, Clever Rachel and Crazy Christina. As the three girls grow up, the Brownie Club stays strong as they face ongoing challenges of fitting in. An autobiographical theatre show exploring themes of race, identity and fitting in, combining aerial circus, physical theatre, text and songs.
