The Chicago Cowboy
T693735953
Chicago, late 1930s, at a downtown hotel, a pianist plays jazz in the lobby. Sam rides in rodeos with the Kosher Cowboys whilst running his hotel business and keeping his family together. Earl, his black manager is navigating his own treacherous waters. Jazz, politics and race are explored through the lens of a family tale inspired by the lives of the director's grandparents. This is a touching and funny tale told using live music, movement and smart writing.
