The Constant Prince archiveThis is the story of Portuguese Prince, Don Fernando, the young fanatical leader of an ill-fated crusade to Morocco. Reducing himself to abject poverty and servitude he abandons all those around him to die for a cause he alone believes in. Blending elements of dance theatre and live music, Etha Theatre's production brings together two of Egypt's greatest folkloric musicians with a talented troupe of European dancers to tell a story of conflict, war and love that is relevant today as it was 400 years ago.
