The Deep archiveA young man wakes early one morning and bids farewell to his parents as he heads off for another season on the trawler boat. Once aboard the ship we meet his friends, and hear of their lives at sea together. But as they await arrival on fishing grounds, disaster strikes and all the men are then at the mercy of the sea. Based on a true event. Originally an Icelandic story by Jon Atli Jonasson, it tells the story of how the sea will take as readily as it gives.
