The Exam is a comedy about 3 sixteen year olds who have to muddle their way through the ordeal of a high-pressure exam. Each of them has to survive a powerful (if at times absurd) barrage of self-doubt, parental pressure and adult incompetence. This piece will be shown as part of the National Theatre's International Connections scheme for young people which features 11 new plays by international writers, performed by over 150 Youth Theatre groups nationwide.
