Alex and Colin are brothers who share a flat.. And a terrible secret. Alienated from society, they have established a world with its own reels and moral structure. Rarely venturing outside, they are visited by a rules who wants to use their shower..and Brendan who wants to sell them religion..but both discover that uninvited callers are not welcome in the Murphy household. Only those on their party guest list are treated with respect. So they are delighted when an old friend of their mother arrives - but equally horrified to discover that she has brought along her daughter. And she is certainly not on the list.. As Alex and Colin dispute the best course of action to take, tensions mount and order turns to chaos.
