On Sunday April 14th, 1912, at 2.30am, the Titanic slipped below the frigid waters of the Atlantic. Yet, J. Bruce Ismay, Managing Director of the White Star Line, stepped into a lifeboat and sailed away from the cries and screams of his passengers. Was he a coward or merely human?
