The Mystery of the Red Hat archiveJoin us for an ensemble piece of theatre sharing the fear, anger, excitement and delight of the Red Hat. The cast of the PIP Theatre Company is composed entirely of adults with learning disabilities. Its aim is to develop the confidence and creativity of its members. In a big city, filled with people from all walks of life, who can we trust? During this thrilling production the person wearing the Red Hat will journey all across London. They will visit vibrant and spectacular parts of the city and venturing into the darkest, loneliest alleys. Along the way, they encounter celebrated people and those who may be feared and shunned. The path that the person in the Red Hat travels on is a challenging one, but friends are found in the most unexpected places. The bigger mystery is; what is driving the person in the Red Hat? Do they have a dark objective or is it mere curiosity? The Mystery of the Red Hat is a testament to what disabled performers are able to achieve when they are supported in a personal, caring environment.
